What Miracle Knots Are
Ask us in the chair
Miracle knots sit between the two things most people already know. A traditional box braid starts with a knot that ties your hair to the extension. A knotless braid has no knot at all — the braider starts with your own hair and feeds the extension in. Miracle knots are their own method, and we price them as their own service rather than as a version of either.
What that means for you is simpler than the technique. It is a separate booking at a separate price, it is the install this salon sells more of than any other, and the way to find out whether it suits your hair is to ask the braider who will be doing it — in the chair, before anything starts, while you can still change your mind.
Every photograph on this page is our own work, shot in the salon on Hillcroft. Six of the seven are one client in one sitting, from different angles, so you can see how the same install reads from the front, the side and the back.

Miracle Knots Questions
If yours isn’t here, call (832) 834‑0324
What are miracle knots?
They are their own braiding method, and we book and price them as their own service rather than as a version of knotless or box braids. The honest answer to "how is it done" comes from the braider who will be doing it — ask in the chair before anything starts, and she will show you on your own hair.
How are miracle knots different from knotless braids?
They are a different method and a different price. Knotless starts at $155 for jumbo at midback; miracle knots start at $255. The salon sells more miracle knots than anything else, which is the clearest signal we can give you about which one people choose once they have seen both.
How much are miracle knots?
From $255 for a medium size at shoulder length, up to $355 for small braids at waist length. The full grid is on this page. Braiding hair is $16 a pack on top if you want us to supply it. Call (832) 834‑0324 and we will price your length and size before you come in.
What sizes and lengths can I get?
Three sizes — small, smedium and medium — at shoulder, midback or waist length. That is what is on the booking menu. If you want something outside that, call and ask rather than assuming it is not possible.
How long do they last?
Six to eight weeks, the same window as any other knotted or knotless install. What ends it is your own hair growing out at the root, not the braid giving up. Book the takedown before the roots get tight — it is kinder to your hairline and it is a shorter appointment.
