A Barber Shop, Not a Side Room
The clippers are the point
Most braiding salons that advertise a haircut mean somebody will tidy your neckline while a chair is free. This is not that. The barber side runs its own chairs, its own clippers and its own barber, and the work on this page is his.
What gets booked most: skin and taper fades, the line‑up that makes a fade look like a haircut instead of a trim, and beard shaping with a straight razor. If you wear locs, a top knot or a high top, the fade has to be cut around what you are keeping — that is a different job from a short back and sides, and it is most of what you will see in the photographs here.
Bring a picture. Not because your barber cannot cut without one, but because "low fade" means four different heights to four different people. Thirty seconds looking at the same photo saves the conversation where you are halfway through and it is already shorter than you wanted.
Kids are welcome and priced lower — $30 rather than $40. If it is a first haircut, say so when you book and we will give the chair a little longer.

How much is a haircut?
$40 for an adult cut and $30 for a kids cut. A trim is $40. Those are the same prices and the same names you will see on the booking system, so nothing changes between the website and the chair.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk in and we will fit you in where we can — the barber chair turns over faster than a braid chair does, so the wait is usually short. If you want a particular time, book it: we are open seven days and the after-work hours go first.
Can you cut a fade around locs or a high top?
That is most of what we do. Cutting a fade around hair you are keeping is a different job from a short back and sides — the taper has to be set against the shape of what is left on top, and the line-up has to follow your actual hairline rather than a straight line. Several of the photographs on this page are exactly that.
Do you do beard work?
Yes — shaping and lining with a straight razor, as part of a cut or on its own. Tell your barber how much length you want to keep before he starts, because a beard line is far easier to take further back than to put back on.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes, $30. If it is a first haircut say so when you book and we will allow more time rather than rushing a child who is not sure about the clippers yet.
